Marble cake has always been a part of the childhood memories. It is because we used to eat these marble cakes when we were young. Besides the chocolate and vanilla cake, the marble cake has become a delicious treat that uses some bright colours. These bright colours are added in the marble cake give it a unique and attractive look. You can decorate these marble cakes with candy, sprinkles, sugar frosting, nuts, ground coconut, small chocolate, etc. There are endless options by which you can give you a plain marble cake with a different look. This cake is perhaps a baked delight that is known for its mottled and swirly appearance.
Ingredients To Make The Chocolate Marble Cake:
You will need a softened butter of about 225 grams. You will need a caster sugar of 225 grams. Also, you will require eggs (four), self-raising flour of about 225 grams. Vanilla extract (one teaspoon). Cocoa powder (two tablespoons), and milk of about three tablespoons.
Methods To Make It:
Take an oven and heat it over 180 c/fan, 160c/gas. Now take a 20 cm cake tin and grease it. Then put the circles of greaseproof paper at the bottom. Mix all the ingredient’s like 225 grams butter, milk three tablespoons, four eggs, 225 grams caster sugar, one teaspoon vanilla extract, 225 self-raising flour in the food processor. Then whizz it for one to two minutes till it becomes smooth.
Now divide this mixture between two bowls. Then add the two tablespoons of cocoa powder in the mixture in one bowl. Then take two spoons then use it to apply to the chocolate and vanilla cake mixes in the tin. When you have used all the mixture in then tap the bottom of the work surface. In this way, you will be sure that there are no air bubbles. Then with the help of skewer swirl, the mixture in the tin for a few minutes to give it a marble effect.
Now bake the cake for about 45 to 55 minutes till you see that the skewer that you have instead is coming out clean. Take it out and let it cool.
Ingredients To Make The Yummy Marble Cake:
Room temperature unsalted butter of about 220 grams. All-purpose flour (200grams), baking powder of one tsp. Fine or powdered sugar (200 grams). Eggs (four). Salt (half a tsp). Whole milk (four tbsp), vanilla essence (one tsp), and cocoa powder of about two tbsps.
Methods To Make It:
Preheat your oven at a temperature of about 375 degrees Fahrenheit and with butter lightly grease your pan. Mix the flour and baking powder and then sieve it. To this, add salt and mix it nicely and keep it aside. With the help of a beater mix the sugar and butter till it is nicely combined or has a pale yellow colour. Then add one by one and beat till it becomes creamy. Add the vanilla essence with flour and mix nicely. Now ass the milk.
Divide the batter into two portions and add cocoa powder to none portion and mix. Put the plain batter in the greased baking pan. Add the cocoa butter in the centre of the baking pan and swirl it a bit. Bake it for about 40 minutes. Remove it from the pan and let it cool before serving.
